Leveske, the Chief Content Officer and former Wrestler of WWE, Paul “Triple H” is reportedly being faced with growing criticism inside the company on the verge of WrestleMania 42. The last year-and-half were hard in the life of the 56-year-old executive whose creative decisions started to be the focus of ever-increasing attention of both the fans and the company insiders.

Fan Backlash Intensifies

The anger of the fans was to be felt when Triple H got viciously booed at the main event of Saturday Night in December. It was the response to the John Cena tapping out Gunther in an occasion that was promoted as a John Cena retirement match. The decision of his to make Jey Uso a World Heavyweight Champion did not work to the liking of a section of the audience as well. The concerns were also contributed by the unbalanced character of the Farewell Tour of Cena.

In July 2022, Vince McMahon stepped down and Triple H took over the position of creative director of WWE. His first play was well received. WWE was selling out, WWE was rated and critically acclaimed. The Road to WrestleMania 40, Bloodline plot, and the event of Cody Rhodes finishing his plot were all deemed a great success.

Creative Struggles Surface

This same momentum failed to change to 2025. The storyline of WWE was crappy and creative changes, which were abundant, allegedly displeased the show-behind-the-scene staff. It was also talked about by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Radio and provided an idea of the atmosphere in the company.

WWE Executive Addresses Crowd Amid WrestleMania Season

Paul Levesque has not been spared of internal criticism as to why the plans to keep changing (WrestleMania). Like Vince…. They make plans and then they make the other plan and this time everything is in the air because of the sensation that the attendance advance is falling down.

Uncomfortable Vince Comparisons

Late bookings of Vince McMahon were all known to make last minute rewrites. Talent: The scripts were torn hours before performances were done in order to stress the talent. Despite the fact that Triple H has since outgrown such style, his more recent attitude towards a reuse of changes has drawn uncomfortable analogies with the person who had come before him and was his father-in-law.

Although Triple H is more open to the creativity of talent, it has a doubt. The WWE is at a somewhat critical stage as it looks forward to wrestling Mania 42 in Allegiant Stadium. Competence can become more important than ever.
