Mone Addresses Service Backlash
Mercedes Mone is reacting to the back-lash of her new texting service which is a subscription based service. The AEW talent has recently introduced a personal chat service that will cost 99.99/month. That announcement soon formed a discussion in the social media as speculating fans questioned the price and the purpose of the service.
During the February 16th episode of We Playin Spades, in an interview with Nick Cannon, Mone provided the reasoning behind the platform. She stated that it was a brainchild of the desire to make fans less vulnerable to fraudsters and fake persons on the Internet.

Protecting Fans From Scams
According to her, she is a CEO because there are too many people who say, Oh, I am talking to you, I am messaging you and they are getting scammed. So I tell her, really, talk to me? You speak to her you love but you have to pay me one month. I’ll text you whenever I’m free.”

As Mone pointed out, the service is strictly communicative. She made it clear that it is not concerning adult contents. Instead, she referred to it as a premium experience, which would be grounded on her most die-hard fans.
Exclusive Fan Experience
This is because people are mailing me one a month to text me. No sexy stuff. I have my legit fans; just like I indicated. The Mone crew are the people that love me, respect me and want to know the ins and outs of my day, how I am feeling and the experience of being a CEO. And I teach them. I’m a CEO for a reason. Isn’t that great? A low price. Brilliant idea. It’s very low.”
Debate Over Service Value
The development has led to the ongoing debate of the wrestling fraternity. Some believe that it is outrageously expensive. Others regard it as a unique way of having personal contact with one of the most popular performers. Mone is though certain about the way she runs her business. The service remains to be made by her look like a secure, controlled and exclusive space of her devoted audience.
