Bayley’s WWE Future Draws New Attention
Bayley’s contract is up for renewal soon, with new rumors that the relationship between the woman and WWE is coming to a close, so much so that there has been quite a bit of talk about her future with the company. Ever since they started rumors about his leaving, there is no official word yet about if the former Women’s Champion will stay with WWE for another year or more.
Bayley’s latest contract with WWE is reportedly set to end in the fourth quarter of 2026. The report notes she could become a free agent sometime around October if she can’t reach a new agreement. No word yet has been announced on whether she has signed a contract extension at this point.
WWE reportedly wants Bayley to remain at the company
Although there is still some speculation, both WWE and TKO have been interested in keeping Bayley with the company. She is said to be one of the most respected figures in the locker room, and is also believed to be one of the most significant leaders behind the scenes.
Bayley has been a member of WWE since he signed with the company in December of 2012. In the time she was with WWE, she became one of the reasons for the Women’s Revolution to thrive and is now one of the Four Horsewomen alongside Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Mercedes Moné (ex-WWE Sasha Banks).
Exit rumors have been fueled by social media
Bayley’s future started to be a topic of speculation after WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18. Bayley tried to challenge Lyra Valkyria, but failed to do so before being attacked by her old enemy after the game.
Following the match, Bayley posted some images on Instagram to ponder about the game. A single comment was made and immediately got fans’ attention when fellow WWE Superstar Kehlani Jordan wrote: “Don’t leave us.”
The comment reignited speculation about Bayley’s departure from WWE but no official word on whether she has made her decision to leave.
He still has a chance to be a free agent
If Bayley becomes free, there have been many speculations that she may meet up with her long-time friend Mercedes Moné. Those discussions, however, are only speculative at this time.
Bayley’s WWE future is still uncertain at this time. For now, however, it’s still being reported that negotiations are still alive, until WWE or Bayley are able to give an official statement. It’s rumored that her contract may soon be up for renewal and the next few weeks may be pivotal as to whether one of WWE’s most successful female Superstars decides to stay or goes elsewhere.
