Reed Injury Shock
It was the week which terminated the Reed of Bronson. He suffered an in real life arm injury during a qualifying match at Elimination Chamber of WWE Raw. At one time when Reed was racing with Jey Uso and El Grande Americano, he climbed to the ropes and fell due to his arm. A brief examination showed that there is a gap in the distal biceps that cannot be sustained in a ring. As the show in Atlanta had passed, Reed was taken backstage where he was to be evaluated and was then flown to Birmingham where he was subjected to a thorough medical check. He had already undergone surgery by midweek and this forced the creative team of WWE to cancel plans of immediate storylines.
Creative Plans Shift
The historical period was especially adverse. Reed was also present to play a key role during the next Elimination Chamber and was emerging as the physical target of the Vision group that was being headed by Paul Heyman. WWE was trusting in the wrong direction that Reed was going when Bron Breakker was brought down with his own injury. It is his absence that leads to the alteration of the lineup on the Chamber as well as on the segments that are mapped towards the WrestleMania. The company sources did not plan the injury leaving the officials to alter the ending of the match in real time. In the absence of Reed, the group will be left without its key player and the leadership can either consider taking new members into the organization or reformatting the organization.
Lengthy Recovery Ahead
Medical practitioners claim that a tear on the distal biceps requires surgery followed by months of treatment before the patient is fit to be back to his full strength. Reed is not expected to be back in the remainder of the season of Wrestlemania, although WWE has not stated a schedule yet. This is even more irritating bearing in mind that he had just returned to the game following a talent injury at Survivor Series where he fractured the talar bone. The fans had a negative reaction but they are still optimistic that he will come back to life due to his determination during the previous rehabilitation. It is the opinion of the analysts that the size, style and presence of Reed will render him still worthy after he is fit. The WWE will be in the meantime engaged in the continuation of major narratives until the time when Reed returns.
