Hemme Clears Rumor
The latter has elucidated one of the persistent rumors about an end of the in-ring career of a former WWE and TNA star, Christy Hemme. Speculation has been going on that AJ Styles is the one who caused her injury which made her retire in the world of wrestling. Hemme has since come out to say that it was not the case and she had suffered a severe neck injury during another match and this had ultimately made her retire.

Hemme responded with a straight forwardness that it occurred when he was fighting Awesome Kong and not Styles. She shared some horrifying events when she was thrown into the turnbuckle and was unable to experience any sensation in her body. What was the story behind the training? Bad AJ is such that he says, ‘Why should I be the one to cut your career?… I remember that I was having a game with Kong. I was thrown over the turnbuckle and feel a dead man below the neck… Then I came out of it, and then I was thrown through the turnbuckle and it did the same thing again. It had been caught a little further. And I was as, my gosh, I and I just thought, this is ever so bad. And that is when I underwent my MRI and I had two protrusions on my spine which were seated on my spine. You can’t wrestle with that. That is like that, you see, where had I been tossed a little further it would have cut my spine half-way through and I would have been lame. So I had to stop completely.”
Diva Search Moment
The other incident that Hemme recalled in her early years with WWE was also quoted. She also freelanced in a WWE Diva Search that resulted in a backstage confrontation that rocked the management of the company including Stephanie McMahon. First, to begin with, it was not written. And even the thing… I can’t even repeat what I said. Only thing I remember though, as I trailed the scenes behind the scenes, was Stephanie McMahon screaming, Where… where did you pick that up? It was just that they did not think it would come out of my mouth, right?… But honest as I tell you, I mean, it was not written down, and it was outrageous. And I remember Carmella [DeCesare] lost his head. And grieved sincerely because I remember that we all liked picked her. And it wasn’t intentional… And I say to you that it did hurt her afterwards because it was really bad. And I say to her that I was remorseful to her.
