Cody Rhodes Bus Crash In Texas
An incident has caused huge concern just hours before one of WWE’s biggest stars returns, ahead of Friday Night SmackDown. A private tour bus that was attached to Cody Rhodes was said to have hit another vehicle in Texas before the show on September 18. It is said that photographs taken at the scene showed the bus, which has a ‘Street Fighter’ theme, stopped along the road after the crash. The vehicle is sure to be eye-catching, with promotional branding associated with Rhodes’ exciting role in the upcoming Street Fighter movie.
American Nightmare Confirmed For SmackDown Return
Luckily, there is no report that Rhodes was injured in any way. In addition, it is unclear if the star was in the bus at the time of the accident. WWE is still aggressively promoting the event in spite of this little travel scare, and it’s still set to air live from Corpus Christi, Texas on Friday. The American Nightmare will have a one-on-one interview after his loss to Randy Orton at Sunday Night’s Main Event. Well, that’s an important show to look forward to, right before the accident even happened.

Notably missing from last week’s SmackDown in Mexico City was an Orton who lost to him on September 6. That means that his return interview might be the best sign he’s given so far of where his incendiary tale is headed. Orton has made it abundantly clear that he wants to be the next champion and Sami Zayn himself took the one-time CM Punk to the title.
