Rhodes Eyes Future
Cody Rhodes has already begun strategising on how his life will be after wrestling despite his career with WWE still doing well. Even at the age of 40, the superstar continues to do it on a high level and is currently one of the most recognisable faces in the company. However, Rhodes is fully aware that time is bound to catch up with each and every performer at some point especially in a constantly evolving industry with upcoming talents.
Rhodes’ Bold Journey
Being back to the WWE, Rhodes has managed to reclaim his status as one of the largest stars of the company. It was several radical career choices which had reshaped the landscape of professional wrestling in the contemporary world which made him come back to the company which is based in Stamford. Rhodes had left WWE some years ago and made the risk of creating his image in the independent sphere. As a result of that, it would make him contribute to the production of All Elite wrestling with Tony Khan and The Young Bucks.
Legacy Defining Run
These were very important decisions in redefining his legacy. Rhodes never missed making marquee matches and moments to be remembered and later returned to WWE. Ever since he returned he has been one of the principle promotion figures. During the process, he won world championship gold and gave performances that created the best impressions that increased his reputation as among the best entertainers of his era.

Rhodes is entering another heady phase in his career this time round. In the following episode of Friday Night SmackDown, he will face off with Drew McIntyre in the next episode of Friday Night SmackDown to wrestle against the Undisputed WWE Championship. This victory would potentially bring about an Elite match with Randy Orton at wrestle mania 42.
Final Contract Hint
Prior to that major match, Rhodes appeared on ESPN Radio and admitted his view of the future of his wrestling career. Though he is not literally putting time constraints on the retirement, he made it very clear that his next agreement with WWE may likely be his final contract that he would sign as an active performer.
I no longer had a finish date like I had. I am aware that whatever the following contract I will have with WWE, I will not leave this time, this will be the last one. I would reason like, I would not adore the wrestling kind of past your time.
But wrestling is not like that since it is not easy to an extent of knowing when you will be ready to go and definitely in 2026 with the type of an athlete you would be. You see what Brock is doing at this stage. He’s in peak form. Roman, older, peak form. Punk is the best he’s ever been. In fact, age is not what it was in the industry.
