Fatu’s Title Resolve
This has not deflated the air out of Jacob Fatu by the recent disappointed events that he has encountered and instead brought him into the same discussion about the championships. The mega star never even reached the Elimination Chamber twice because the match was spoiled by Drew McIntyre in crucial moments of the two matches. Such losses stopped his rise to power. They also made him even more competitive with his former world champion.

Even without the WWE, Fatu has been a threat although he remains threatening to the wrestlemania 42 as the event grows closer. They are still reporting that he is yet to receive a chance at a championship. In the title image, he is clinging to the title despite the removal of the headline by Randy Orton, McIntyre and Cody Rhodes on the Undisputed WWE Championship.

There was a barefooted social media post made this week that caused speculation. Royce Keys, one of the participants of Royal Rumble 2026, walked into the gym mirror with Fatu. The photo lacked any caption. It even included only two fist emojis side by side that resembled a fist bump. Keyes bent flippantly in front of the camera. Fatu was near him, with his habitual gestures. The environment appeared to be a drilling training and not an exercise. The message felt deliberate. Preparation is underway.
Fatu’s Championship Prospects
The timing of the post is important. Fatu has business markers to pay out with McIntyre who has uncompensated him in two chances in Chamber. The feelings can be multiplied quickly as the year of WrestleMania is coming close. It is currently expected that Orton will be competing with the Undisputed WWE Championship. It appears that there is a possibility of singles match between McIntyre or Rhodes. The other situation that has been also argued internally is a triple threat scenario.
The title claim by Fatu is however left open which renders it uncertain. A collision this early as Friday would make a tremendous difference in the aspect of things.
