Jade Cargill is clarifying that she would prefer to have more opportunities within the ring. The current WWE Women champion is willing to demonstrate herself with the help of regular competition.
Limited Title Defenses
Cargill won the title at Saturday Night Main Event in November. This was a big win over Tiffany Stratton. Her in-ring action has been reduced since then. It has been televised only once that she defended the title. That was the match in the February 13 episode of SmackDown when she beat Jordynne Grace.
In 2026, Cargill has only struggled a few times outside that defense. The short schedule has cast doubt on the fans. There is concern among many why the champion has not been given more names in matches.

Cargill Seeks Top Matches
Cargill talked with Complex Graps about the situation. She stated that she has a desire to compete more frequently. She also listed some of the best stars that she would like to confront.
“I mean, I want to wrestle. Once you are champion, you want to as much as possible defend your title. We have an excellent locker room, and they are all chained up in the tag division, and that is powerful and I understand it but I want to wrestle. I would like to match with Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and all these best girls. I am convinced that in case he were to have a second fight with Tiffany it would have been a wrap or one of the things that would have been a wrap.
Cargill also looked back on the previous competitions and unresolved business. She noted Nia Jax as one of her possible future enemies.
Potential Rivalries Brewing
It was Nia Jax who gave me the bum to get me out and I believe that would be something we can run back despite being both heels. I can say that I am in that middle ground, I am a kind of a tweener and I do not care about anybody. I wrestled Chelsea [Green] and Chelsea is a heel.
However, as much as she liked the entertainment aspect of WWE, Cargill pointed out what she was passionate about. She wishes she should be remembered because of her ring performances.
So I would have only desired to wrestle more. All I want to do is wrestle, that is all I want to do. I believe in dressing pretty and nice. With such promotions, I love that as well because it puts me to test but I like wrestling and that is why I am here.

WrestleMania Plans Shift
In the prospective of WrestleMania 42, the strategies have already changed direction. As early as the report indicated, Cargill was to face Bianca Belair. That was a match pegged on Belair winning the Royal Rumble, or the Elimination Chamber. Nevertheless, the plans were altered because Belair was injured.
Belair is now sidelined following a finger surgery in February 2026. Consequently, Cargill is in a head-on clash with Rhea Ripley. This new orientation contributes excitement to the title match with WrestleMania on the verge.
