Jim Ross, the veteran wrestling commentator, has added his voice to the debate on why Sable is not in the WWE hall of fame. In his Grilling JR podcast, Ross stated that her omission was a significant omission. The subject was brought back into focus when Marc Mero made comments in an interview with Chris Van Vliet. Ross concurred with that point of view and made his own position.
WWE Call Awaited
Ross acknowledged that he does not understand why there was a delay. He then proposed that it remains the choice of WWE leadership. He singled out Brock Lesnar and the former chairman Vince McMahon. He also admitted that Triple H now takes a dominant part in such decisions. I am not much sure of that, Ross replied. It is a Vince decision at bottom and a Brock Lesnar decision at bottom. So we’ll see how that takes us. I believe that this year is the time to get her into the Hall of Fame.

Time is an essential factor which Ross emphasized. He feels that he is missing the chance to get Sable into a future Hall of Fame list. An urgency can be seen in his remarks. This is what lots of fans have been saying in the recent years. The topic is still popularized throughout the wrestling world.
Ross Backs Sable
Ross then presented a strong argument why Sable should be induced. He referred to her irrefutable influence in the most prosperous period in the history of WWE. She got what she deserved, and she made a sensation, he said. She was a lot of money to the company, she grew up to be a star, a big star. On my part, she is not in the Hall of Fame and that is not right. She would be, and hopefully this will come sooner than later.
Sable or, to give her a real name, Rena Greek, was one of the most well-known stars of WWE in the Attitude Era. She won the WWE Women Championship and earned herself mainstream publicity. The fact that she was featured in Playboy increased the fan base of WWE. She is one of the main contributors to the popularity boom that the company experienced in the late 1990s.
Sable’s WWE Journey
She has had a complicated relationship with WWE even after her success. She then sued the company in 1999 and went back in 2003. Her second run lasted until 2004. She has since then withdrawn into the limelight. She now has her own life and is living with her husband, Brock Lesnar.
