Joe Hendry has given one of the most critical moments in his wrestling career, stating that one of his former WWE stars teaches him how to make a choice that resulted into the brand. In an interview on TMZ Inside The Ring, the present NXT Champion explained that, there was a time when he was not sure of whether he would ever use his real name in the professional wrestling business. It is one of the pillars of his achievements today.
Hendry Name Advice
Hendry claimed that he was getting the advice given by his trainer, who is WWE fans know as Killian Dain, or Big Damo. It was the period when Hendry thought about a more conventional gimmick name. But Damo said to me to be patient and keep my head. He was as, See, I tell you use your own name since you have nothing you are so minded about at this time. Do not hurry about it, or have anything that you do not want to make use of, but call your own name here and now, in my opinion, Hendry thought to himself.
To start with, Hendry had no idea that his real name had a strong presence in sports entertainment. In his actual words, and I can remember, I believe that Joe Hendry had no or very little ring to it when he thought. It was not surprising in an industry that was built on larger than life characters.
Hendry Creative Name Advantage
That shyness finally disappeared in the long run. Hendry discovered his) real name so as to offer a startling creative liberation. Parody video musics assisted him in becoming very popular as his performance focused on punning. I realized I could address my name in other ways so that it rhymed in songs… Joe Hen, Joe Hendry… I can rhyme it with almost every song. Thus, it was quite helpful with my viral videos.
To give an authenticity and freedom, his real name was applied. It has helped him to develop a brand, which is not a fake one, but a genuine one. Fans could identify with such genuineness and it helped him to climb to the top of NXT.
The other mistake that has been reinforced over the internet was also addressed by Hendry. He goes by the name Joe and not Joseph, though in the past, he was referred to as Wikipedia. It was a championship career that was founded on the temporary solution.
