Liv Morgan turned some heads when she participated in an impromptu WWE 2K developers’ conference call a few weeks back and offered some “friendly advice.” The WWE talent pointed out the scale of WWE 2K26, including a larger roster, new match types and overall ambition for the game when it is released on March 6. Morgan also showcased her expertise of the franchise, noting that she herself is a big 2K gamer and has played each of its games in years past.

Liv Morgan Speaks Out

“I know the game this year is bigger and better as it always is. We have our largest roster. I know we have four new match types. I know there are tons of surprises and cool gameplay for everyone to see once the game drops on March 6th, but as an avid 2K player, I have some valuable thoughts,” Morgan said while addressing the development team. Her tone quickly shifted as she revealed her main criticism.

Cover Star Frustration

“This game could have been the best 2K game of all time. It really had potential, but you know why it is not? It is because Liv and Dominik aren’t are not on the cover. I mean, not even the Judgment Day? Wouldn’t at least give us the Judgment Day on the cover? I am scared to ask what everyone’s ratings are. I am scared to find out if Dominik is the default Intercontinental Champion in the game,” she complained. Morgan then exited the call after delivering her message.

She later added, “I just thought I would come in and give these tidbits of advice so that perhaps next year you could have the greatest 2K of all time once you have LivDom as your cover stars. Do with this information what you will. I am a big, big, big fan, but it could be just a little bit better.”

CM Punk Revealed

In other WWE 2K26 news, CM Punk was officially unveiled as the standard edition cover star during the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. “It is my pleasure and honor. As a little kid, I could only dream of being on the cover of a video game, and now I’m joining some esteemed dignitaries who have been on the cover twice,” Punk said. He previously appeared on the cover of WWE ’13 in 2012. WWE and 2K also confirmed Attitude Era, Monday Night War, and Triple H edition covers. The ESRB rating confirms the game will launch only on PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S. WWE 2K26 is now available for pre-order.
