Exclusive: Roman Reigns Left Off Denver Match Card
WWE throws yet another curveball into The Bloodline’s issues. One big name is conspicuously missing from the list, though. The six-man tag team championship was announced but Roman Reigns was not included. He still has a lot to do with the faction’s intense rivalry with 946. He was expected to be the front-runner in Denver. Instead, management opted for another course to the next arena event.
Escalating Violence And Backstage Tension
It’s been going on for weeks and weeks now. The Bloodline has been the target of multiple attacks by Royce Keys, Lucien Price, and Bronco Nima. Even, they set the group’s SUV on fire on September 7th’s episode of RAW. It got worse last Monday. The group kidnaped Solo Sikoa. The attack prevented him from getting into the Money in the Bank qualifying bout with Dragon Lee and Dominik Mysterio.
Dark Match Set For Denver
WWE will come to the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado Oct. 2nd with SmackDown. They are heavily marketed, with Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss all being heavily advertised. But there will be a huge dark match following the cameras stop rolling. The 946 stable makes its first in-ring appearance together. The Usos and Jacob Fatu will compete in a six-man tag team battle just for fans in the stadium to go head-to-head with Keys, Price and Nima.
The collection of historic and rising family support
The first thing that jumps out at you is the fact that Reigns isn’t in the bout. The OTC has been warned recently by 946. However, WWE decided to continue to use Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Fatu to represent the company. Moreover, there is serious history between Keys and Fatu. The Samoan Werewolf had his keys taken by the referee, due to a chaotic Street Fight on August 3. Price and Nima, meanwhile, got confirmed for the main roster on August 24.
Family Teases Explosive Future Involvement
There may be one more potent solution that’s sitting in the family closet. 946 has just been interviewed by MuscleManMalcom by Jacob’s brother Journey Fatu. He said he would not be intimidated by them; they would not make his family afraid. He also joked about a possible match-up. The Bloodline get their first real shot for a response to the aggressive Bloodline challenge within the square.
