In TNA Wrestling, she currently serves as Director of Operations, a role designed to keep oversight on Santino Marella, the company’s Director of Authority. During the NXT broadcast, Rae was shown monitoring the Knockouts Tag Team Championship match between the Elegance Brand and Zaruca, representing TNA’s vested interest in the outcome.
Elegance Brand Retains Titles
The Elegance Brand, consisting of Heather and M, entered the match accompanied by Ash, also known as Dana Brooke, and their Personal Concierge. Their ringside presence proved decisive. Zaruca built momentum late in the contest, but the Personal Concierge distracted referee Victoria D’Errico at a crucial moment. This allowed Ash to intervene and swing the match. Ash drove Ruca into the steel steps, while Heather and M double-teamed Zaria to secure the victory and retain the titles.
Rae Sasses Michaels
While Rae’s involvement during the match itself was minimal, her backstage interactions quickly became the highlight of the night. In clips later shared on social media, Rae was seen celebrating the TNA wrestlers successfully keeping their championships away from NXT. As she crossed paths with Shawn Michaels, Rae made her message clear by telling him, “Take notes, buddy.”
One more instance where Rae addressed NXT’s interim general manager, Robert Stone directly, is because of a conflict between him and her due to his pronunciation of her name incorrectly. Nonetheless, it was indicated that the collaborative alliance between NXT and TNA still exists.
On the part of the TNA, the role played by Stone may be relevant in the future. He is already engaged in the storyline of power struggle, having already tried to replace Santino Marella. As the No Surrender event of TNA is going to take place on the 13 th of February, the fans will be keeping a keen eye on how the inter-promotional dynamics are going to play out.
