Cena’s Final Match
John Cena has retired the in-ring competition officially less than three months ago, and this action concludes one of the most successful careers in the history of WWE. The 17 time world champion wrestled his final match against Gunther on Saturday Night Main Event in Washington, DC on December 13. It was a finale to an entire season tour around the world to pay tribute to his legacy in the professional wrestling world.
Cena’s Farewell Tour
Regarding Cena, who was always regarded as the face of modern WWE, he was unlike the majority of legends. He was not in favor of having a single retirement match. Instead, he allowed himself one year of goodbye that was full of headline moments. These were his maiden heel turn in his career and winning his 17th world title at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. Cena has already signed a new ambassadorial contract with the organization that can bind him to the WWE in the next five years, although there were fans who were accusing WWE of not contracting him to win his two remaining matches.

During a recent episode of the No-Contest wrestling podcast, Cena went back to some of the pieces of advice he received in the early days in the industry by William Regal. This statement, which was not lengthy, left an unerasable mark in the future icon.
Regal’s Early Critique
I had my idol, William Regal, the European Fit Finlay, the catch-as-catch-can style. I liked the perception of it, which was kinesthetic. I liked the fact that it was physical poetry. And there he was and I might ask him such as, Hey did you see my match? Yes. How was it? He responded by saying to him, Kid, when you get yourself a pair of footwear, you will at least appear as a decent wrestler. This is where it is despite the reality of perception. I replied ‘Just a pair of boots what I want.

“That’s how I took it. However it was only being very polite, of course, very stiff upper lip. It was the s***s. He was correct, yet God bless he did not inform me that it was bad as I was struggling in bodybuilding Otomix shoes and I can tell, Yo, I simply need to take boots.
