WWE has already stated that it would pay tribute to AJ Styles in the following week episode of the WWE Raw. The episode of Raw on 23 rd February will be hosted in Atlanta as it will be a tribute to Styles because he lost his retirement stipulation at the Royal Rumble.

Career-Ending Rumble Clash

Gunther fought a tough battle, which had career implications with Styles. With the stipulation, the loss was a shoo-in into retirement at least in the short term by Styles. The tribute was announced by WWE immediately after the fallout of the Rumble which is an indication that the company is going to honor one of its most successful performers.

Elimination Chamber Qualifiers Set

High stakes action will be also introduced in the Atlanta performance going to be linked to the next event of the Elimination Chamber. Raquel Rodriguez will have to fight Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane in a triple threat qualifying match. On the men side, Bronson Reed will be pitted against Jey Uso and Original El Grande Americano as an opportunity to join the Chamber. These matches are full of suspense to an already loaded card.

The Sky Pirates Reunited IYO SKY and Kairi Sane on WWE Raw

In addition to this, Brock Lesnar has been advertised over the air. The former world champion is not yet observed ever since he was dethroned at the Royal Rumble. His reemergence to Raw will definitely bring a massive attention, more so with the approaching season of WrestleMania.

Styles’ Future Uncertain

Despite the retirement requirement, some questions of the future of Styles are still there. Other post Royal Rumble news indicated that he and WWE were discussing a new deal. This bargain was not made, however, till his match with Gunther. Recently, in an interview with Stephanie McMahon, Styles gave a clue that his in-ring career was not necessarily over. He even added that he might be a partner with one of his children in the future.

WWE will treat Styles as honored on Raw in the meantime. One does not know, is it a real farewell or the beginning of another chapter.
