Surprise Return Interrupts Title Celebration
It’s been a week of surprising comebacks. NXT has also now added another name to that list. This time, the surprise was right after the NXT Women’s Championship bout. The celebration was halted by someone with unfinished business.
Brutal Attack Escalates Into Chaos
Wren Sinclair suddenly rushed into the ring. She ran straight after Kelani Jordan. For the first time since Heatwave, this was her first WWE TV appearance. The ex-Women’s Speed Champion even had a tussle with the referee. She stole a kendo stick from underneath the ring. Sinclair struck at Jordan over and over with the weapon. Later, the officials dragged Sinclair away. By then, her intent was beyond doubt.
Personal Revenge Fuels Vicious Assault

The attack was motivated by a personal issue. Sinclair’s quest was for revenge against her friend Kendal Grey. It is noted that Grey had a fight with Jordan at Heatwave for the title. She came into that contest with an injury to her ear. Grey dealt with the pain in the title bout. Jordan retained her championship. Away from the pitch however Grey exacerbated the injury in a match. Since that time, she has been forced to retire.
Emotional Motive Drives Shocking Comeback
Sinclair believes the injury was caused by the champion. This provides the developing competition with an emotional base. WWE linked her comeback up with an existing friendship. It clearly states a ‘why’ for the target to the viewer right away.
New Threat Emerges During Expansion
Jordan isn’t limited to NXT either. The winner will be flying to Mexico City. She will appear on RAW at a Money in the Bank Qualifier. It is especially awkward for Sinclair to return as his career continues to take off. There’s another threat on the horizon as Jordan grows more prominent.
