Austin’s Defining Legacy
Stone Cold Steve Austin is another personality that is among the most influential personalities in the history of the professional wrestling. The WWE Hall of Famer left behind an icon of memorable fights and unique connection with the audience. The industry has lacked many stars who could generate an arena like him. Its defiant nature is what helped transform WWE during the late 1990s and provide it with the form of what is presently known as Attitude Era.
Austin’s Enduring Influence
Austin, though forced to retire to full time competition earlier than would have been possible otherwise through injuries, did not lose any of his influence. The Texas Rattlesnake remained an icon of the most volatile of the WWE. Fans still remember him and his legendary battles decades later. As a result of that popularity over a long period, speculation of a possible renaissance of the ring has been expressed regularly. Even the fans would like to see Austin appearing in a wrestle mania 43, to be hosted in Saudi Arabia, in the first place in the history of the event.
Austin’s Near Setback
The emergence of Austin nowadays seems to be inevitable, but new comments raised the opportunity that it could have been much different. To a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, former television producer David Sahadi related an outrageous story of how Austin used to work in WWE. According to Sahadi, the reaction of the audiences towards Austin was not satisfactory to the former WWE chairman, Vince McMahon.
Austin Almost Altered
Stone cold Steve Austin was nearly killed, he was nearly dying on arrival since Vince wanted to be heel. And when he started getting popularity, it is directly in front of the Mike Tyson. I do not remember the date of the meeting, but it was sometime in the corporate when Vince was having a meeting. Some of the corporate executives including Kevin Dunn were not.

Sahadi claimed that McMahon believed that Austin was not being booed but receiving cheers of the spectators. This answer puzzled the then management at WWE. McMahon is said to have responded by proposing a significant character transformation.
He also added: Vince, like, said, You know what? They do not boo Stone cold Stein Austin and fans would like to. They’re cheering him. So we need heels. I think about making him appear like the Ringmaster character again, smacking his hair on the head, and putting the powder blue tights on him.
As we all know, history unfolded itself in such a way that the defiant image of Austin was what was wanted by the fans. His popularity helped in rocketing WWE towards the mainstream. Even today, the story of Stone Cold Steve Austin echoes among the wrestling fans across the globe.
