Why Is This Event Historic?

Clash in Italy is the first-ever WWE Premium Live Event held in Italy. WWE President Nick Khan announced in September 2025 that the company would bring a PLE to Italy, and Triple H officially confirmed the Turin venue in February 2026. The Inalpi Arena is a world-class facility and Italian fans are expected to create an electric atmosphere unlike anything seen in regular WWE markets.

This event is also part of WWE’s nearly month-long 2026 European Summer Tour, which routes through Spain, France, Portugal, and the UK. Clash in Italy is the centerpiece of that tour.

Stephanie Vaquer Return Watch

Former Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer — injured since April 27 — is expected to return around Clash in Italy weekend. She’s already featured in the official event promotional material. Her comeback could set up a major Women’s World Championship feud heading into SummerSlam 2026.

Title Picture Heading In

Cody Rhodes vs GUNTHER is a dream match on paper. Gunther’s path to this title shot involved Paul Heyman getting him transferred to SmackDown in exchange for taking out Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 42. With Heyman in his corner, The Ring General is a very credible threat to The American Nightmare’s championship.

Roman Reigns vs Jacob Fatu in Tribal Combat is a family war. Fatu has been one of the most menacing forces in WWE in 2026, and putting him in a no-disqualification environment with Roman Reigns makes for a compelling and potentially violent main event quality contest.

Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi is a battle of monsters. Lesnar returned out of nowhere to attack The Ruler, and Italian fans will go crazy for The Beast Incarnate.

Our Take

Clash in Italy has the makings of a must-watch event. Two world title matches, a potential Brock Lesnar spectacle, and the likely return of Stephanie Vaquer — all from Italy for the very first time. Mark May 31 on your calendar.
